Good to know

Simple answers.

Does CalBuddy access my calendar?

No. It creates an event link or ICS file. Your calendar app handles the actual addition and asks you to save it.

What is an ICS file?

It is the open iCalendar format used to exchange events between Apple Calendar, Outlook, Thunderbird and many other calendar apps.

Is my event stored?

No. Event details stay in the current browser session. A share link contains a compressed copy of the event in its URL fragment.

Will reminders always behave the same?

CalBuddy includes standard calendar alarms, but the final reminder behaviour is controlled by the calendar app.
